The Jacks produced a good all-round team performance against Perth Glory on Saturday, with Daryl Nicol bagging a brace in the 2-0 win.

Head Coach Kenny Lowe gave debuts to new signings Luke Palmateer and Riley Woodcock, but he was without a number of players due to injury, and he said it was a deserved win and a quality performance.

“Delighted to get the three points and I thought it was a disciplined performance from the side today,” he said.

“To be honest that is the most complete performance since we have been here. Tactically and mentally, it was a top shelf.”

Glory added some experienced players to their side for the game, and Lowe said that made the win more impressive, but showed the depth in his squad.

“We changed things up a bit, and the opposition paid us a huge compliment by dropping four first team regulars down into their NPL team,” he explained.

“It showed how much they wanted to win the game, unfortunately for them we dominated and controlled them with the ball and without the ball, but we have got a squad of players that can do that.

“We were first class and to get the win and another clean sheet is a good reward for the boys, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

“I may have a few problems picking a team when we get Chris Harold, Ryan Lowry, Sami Riak, Shane Cassidy, Tommy Amphlett and Ellis Healing back fit.”

The Jacks are back in NPLWA action on Saturday with a trip to Frank Drago Reserve to meet Bayswater City
