We head into another great weekend of football at the ECU Campus, and there were some excellent performances and results across all teams last week.

The 20s ran out 4-2 winners, with Dylan Leonard the star, bagging a hat-trick, with Jason Petrie added the other, to also consolidate seventh spot on the table, and move only five points off the top four, while the 18s fought out a 0-0 draw, the point consolidating seventh place on the table.

Our first team were in Cup Semi-Final action on Wednesday night at Sorrento, and Danny Hodgson’s goal gave us a 1-0 win, to send them into the State League Cup Final, and into the FFA Cup round of 32.

In other Womens program games – The 12s girls played North Beach Sc at home and once again coach Gareth James was delighted with his side’s performance. “Despite atrocious conditions the girls played some excellent football against North Beach,” he said. “It was really pleasing to see elements of training come forward in the games, especially with the use of balls into space down the channels.”
