It’s a massive weekend of football at the ECU Campus with only a few weeks remaining of the season.

First, we look back at last week and our NPLWA sides took on Perth SC at the Campus. Our first team were beaten 0-4 and dropped out of the top four, our 20’s were also beaten 1-5, with Fabio De Abreu on target. The 18s fought out a 2-2 draw with Hanani Ndebele scoring a brace to give us a 2-1 lead, but a goal n stoppage time gave Perth a point.

We are back in action on Saturday when we travel to the E&D Litis Stadium to take on second placed Floreat Athena – Kick off times, 18s at 11.00am, 20s at 1.00pm and First Team at 3.00pm.

Last week our Women’s State League Division One side made it five games without defeat after a 4-1 win against Mandurah City at Securitas Protect Stadium. Molly Elphick grabbed a brace and others to Amy Buchanan and skipper Frankie Murray. This week they have the bye.

Our Amateur women’s side were beaten 0-5 by third placed Hamersley Rovers Carine Open Space, and this week they welcome Fremantle City (Maroon) to the Campus – Kick off 1.00pm.

In other Womens program games – ECU U12s girls took on Ellenbrook United at Prendiville Catholic College. “The girls faced a competitive game against a physical Ellenbrook team. A cagey first half display from both teams was replaced by more open, expansive football in the second half,” coach Gareth James said.

“This week’s game highlighted the attacking prowess from Daisy Snowden, who was extremely clinical in front of goal.

Goal scorers this week Daisy Snowden (7), Halle Snowden (2).

This week they travel to Warrandyte Reserve to take on Whitford City – Kick off 11.30am.

The Masters North Division Three were in involved in a ten-goal thriller against Perth City, eventually running out 6-4 winners.

Igor Arsovski scored a hat-trick, taking his tally to 13 goals for the season, with player/coach Rick Rancatore bagging a brace, with Richard Cresswell adding the other

This week they host Balga SC at the ECU Football Stadium – Kick off 3.00pm.

Our NPLWA junior sides played their fifth Divisional games last week. The 13s hosted Murdoch University Melville at the Campus and drew 0-0.

The 14s took on Perth SC at home and ran out 2-1 winners, with goals from Alexander McMullan and Jack Connolly.

The 15s also hosted Perth SC in Division Two and drew 1-1.

The 16s hosted Murdoch University Melville and drew 1-1 with Myles Mari scoring for the Jacks.

Just a reminder the Jacks under 13s, 14s and 16s are in state League Cup Finals this weekend at Macedonia Park – If you can, get along and cheer the boys on – Fixtures below:
