ECU Joondalup Masters head home in Week Two

Posted on June 26, 2020 in 'News'

The ECU Joondalup Soccer Club Masters team are at home on Sunday when they host Carramar Shamrock Rovers at the ECU Football Stadium at 3.00pm.

The side got off to great start last week with a big win against Olympic Kingsway and Player/Coach/ Team Psychiatrist Rick Rancatore was pleased with the performance. “We played well and took our chances, so I couldn’t have been more pleased,” he said.

“We need to maintain that sort of performance on Sunday and all six lads trained well this week. They (Carramar Shamrock Rovers) lost their opening game against Joondalup City so they will be looking to hit back so we know we will have to be at our best.

“It looks like the rain will hit on Sunday so the new Ronaldo style haircuts might take a battering, so there might be a hairdryer in the changing rooms, not from me I hope.” Rancatore referring to Sir Alex Fergusons famous half time team talks.

“We hope to have a good crowd down on Sunday to support the lads and the bar will be open too so it should be a good day at the ‘The Pride of the North’
