An important message from the ECU Joondalup Soccer Club committee

COVID-19 UPDATE

Last week was a fantastic week for Western Australia, we are seeing very low to zero infection numbers for COVID-19. We have seen some restrictions being lifted, with promises of more to come. Children are going back to school, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It was extremely positive for Football West to announce on Friday that the lifting of some restrictions means that as a soccer club we can start looking to resume some activities. As we have done from the start of this pandemic, we are waiting for complete guidelines and recommendations from Football West before we resume any activities.

The health and safety of our players, staff and parents continue to be our primary concern. While we are all wanting to get back to training and playing, we want to ensure that our adapted plans are entirely in-line with the Football West guidelines.

We are expecting this information to be released from Football West this week. Our Coaching staff will then review and create adapted plans in line with guidelines for all our teams. In the meantime, our current rules still apply.

We ask all players, staff and parents to stay away from the clubhouse and grounds until further notice. Updates will continue to be sent via email, through our Facebook pages and on our website. Further information will follow this week.

In the meantime, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
