Here is a a season update from Under 15’s Coach Ronald Rixer and Under 16’s Coach Toby Wright

Under 15’s Season update – The ECU Joondalup under 15’s NPL Academy side have had a great start to the season achieving maximum points from our first five games and Head Coach Ronald Rixer has been delighted with their progress. “Really pleased with the season to date, but most importantly, both individual and team improvements have been a real pleasure to witness first hand.” he said.

“Some boys have already made big strides towards senior teams this year and if they continue, they may get their chance sooner than they think. There is still a long way to go for the U15’s team, but they are on track and hungry to keep learning more and improving their skills each week. Overall, it’s been an honour to coach such talented boys and I’m excited for what the future has in store for these young footballers.”

Under 16’s season update – The ECU Joondalup under 16’s NPL Academy side have made great strides this season and Head Coach Toby Wright said they improving with every game. “After a great pre-season, the league season got off to a rocky start losing our first game. However, the team got back on track straight away and have had some really good performances since then,” he said.

“Individuals are improving and the team is working hard towards their goals with an aim to peak at the right time in the season. In conjunction with the league the majority of the team have either been involved with the U18’s, Joey’s, State and/or State School Boys Trials which is a credit to the talent in the squad, and we look forward to the rest of the season and it starts on Sunday against league leaders Ellenbrook United this weekend.
