ECU Masters host Hamersley Rovers on Sunday

The ECU Masters side are all geared up for their next encounter against Hamersley Rovers, after narrowly going down 5-3 to Joondalup United at the weekend.

Whilst they were always chasing the game after going 2-0 down, the result was not deserved after playing much the better football for good periods of the game.

I tried to catch up with manager Riccardo Rancatore earlier today but unfortunately with his pace I had absolutely no chance.

Having just spoken to him on the phone he said: “We were really unlucky against Joondalup United  and the defeat was very harsh. There were some great performances all across the team, with Luke putting in a beast of a performance, Olivia Hilton looking stylish with his man-bun look and it was great for Paul Talbot to get a goal, but unfortunately breaking his big toe with a powerful strike”

When asked further about the coming game he added, “The tickets have already sold out it’s incredible. My gum-tree advert titled ‘Free showing of well-trimmed Brazilian on Mother’s Day’ seems to have done the trick. I honestly never knew our new signing Diego was that popular”

With the weekends positive performance there are good signs ahead for the coming weeks, as the injury crisis slowly starts to improve. The club are offering a free complimentary tea, coffee or vino for all ECU mums, so get yourselves down to support the team. – Kick off 3.00pm
