The ECU Junior were all in action last week in PS4NPLWA and Football West games below is a wrap of the games: Well done to everyone!!!!! (Unfortunately we have been told by Football West – we can’t give scores for Mini-Roo games on our web site of match day programme)
NPL Junior Results last week – Round 18
Under 12’s v Sorrento – Won 1-0 – Louis Hadfield scored the goal against his former club.
Under 13’s v Sorrento– Lost 0-4 – The 13’s came away from their game against Sorrento on Sunday with a 4-0 loss and few positives from the game. We started slowly and found ourselves 1-0 down early on but then had a few good chances to equalise. We did continue to struggle and found ourselves 3-0 at half time after more defensive errors by not doing the simple things and tracking runners. Second half we rarely threatened the Sorrento goal and they scored a fourth to complete a deserved win. ‘ We were poor throughout and didn’t deserve anything from the game. Sorrento were clearly up for the game, whilst the boys thought all they had to do was turn up and the win was ours. I’m expecting a positive response at training this week and for our game against Inglewood on Sunday. . – Coach Nik Silsby
