Former ECU Joondalup defender has moved away from Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, and has joined Scottish First Division side Queens Park on a deadline-day development loan deal.

Morton manager Jim Duffy said its important Iredale gets first team football under his belt. “I think it’s really important for young players to go out on loan because they get first-team football, experience, and an idea of the demands, both physical and mental,” he said.

“The responsibility of playing and winning matches is the most important thing. I think it’s an invaluable experience and we’ll possibly look to do that with a few more boys.”

Iredale impressed Queens Park manager Gus MacPherson when they played Morton earlier in the season, and he is very happy to get Jack on board, as the sit bottom of the First Division table, Macpherson also thanks Duffy for allowing the defender to join them.

Iredale will go into The Spiders squad for next week game away to East Fife – Good luck Jack.
