Jacks youngsters in Grand Finals on Sunday

ECU Joondalup’s under 12’s, 14’s and 16’s are involved in PS4NPLWA Top Four Grand Finals on Sunday at E&D Litis Stadium, and will be looking to end their respective seasons on a high.

Unfortunately the under 15’s were beat in the Semi-Final 2-1 by Perth Glory last week, Blake Burgess scored for the side, but they bowed out of the finals race, but it was a good season by the youngsters.

On Sunday first up at 8am Willie Kelly’s under 12’s take on near neighbours Sorrento. They reached the final with a fantastic 4-2 win against Perth Glory, with Phoenix Lee scoring two and Toby Snook and Jacob Evans also on target.

Next in action is Willie Herd’s under 14’s, who also take on Sorrento with an 11.15am kick off. They made it to the Grand Final after beating Stirling Lions 1-0 last week with Taylor Thain the scorer.

Finally Howard Tweet’s under 16’s go head to head with Subiaco at 2.45pm. The edged out Balcatta in the Semi-Final. The first goal came from Ajak Riak, with a stunning volley from the edge of the penalty area, before own goal in the second half sealed the win.
