ECU Joondalup hit the road this weekend, and travel to Intiga Stadium on Sunday afternoon to take on Inglewood United in week seven of the National Premier League WA. (3PM)

United have picked up over the past month, and are on a four game undefeated streak, and Coach Dale McCulloch knows his side will have to be at their best to come away with the points. “They had a poor start to the season, but Graham (Normanton) has turned them around and they will be a tough opposition,” he said.

A good cup win against Shamrock Rovers, has put a smile back on the face of the coach, but he will be looking for a response from the 0-2 defeat against Balcatta last week in the league. “We played well in patches against Shamrock and we scored five goals which was pleasing, and Jon Stynes was great in front of goal scoring four,” McCulloch said.

“We didn’t punish Balcatta when we had the opportunity, and we have to learn from that. Inglewood have turned the corner and we will need to be on our toes, but we’re looking forward to the clash and we head their looking for all three points and get our season back on track.” In team news for ECU, Joe Smith and Tommy Amphlett returns to the side, but they will still be without David Caine.

Inglewood’s Irish midfielder Sean Browne is looking forward to the game. “After a poor start to the season we are unbeaten in the last four games and it’s important to keep that run going,” he said. “We are scoring goals for fun, 17 in our last four games, but Joondalup will be desperate for the points after losing their last two games, so we know it will be tough game.” Inglewood welcome back midfielder David Perich to the side that drew 3-3 with Perth Soccer Club last time in the league..
