The 2012 All Flags Premier Division season comes to an end for ECU Joondalup this weekend when they take on relegation threatened Western Knights at The ECU Arena (3pm)

To celebrate the fantastic support and the clubs 25th anniversary the club have made admission to the ground on Saturday free – So get down and support the players!!!

For ECU Coach Salv Todaro it’s a job well done, and with last week’s 2-0 win against Balcatta securing their top flight spot for next season. “At times during the season we have played some exceptional football and really made a mockery of our league position which is a great credit to all the players that have been involved with the 1st team all year. The boys have trained hard all throughout the year and given me their 100% support and we have started to see and reap the benefits during the last 6 weeks with some excellent results,’ said Todaro.

“To some extent it is a pity that the season is finishing just as we have started to hit our stride. I’m already excited about next year. Thank you gentlemen for what has finally turned out to be a successful year.”

The Knights are all but relegated and will need a miracle if they are to survive. They will need to score a number of goals Saturday and beat Joondalup and hope Perth trash Armadale if they are to keep their 16 year tenure in the Premier League alive.

There could be more celebrations on Saturday if Mark Windeat’s under 18’s can beat The Knights, the three points will wrap up the under 18’s league title – So get down to the game early and cheer the boys on!!!
