ECU Joondalup  5-0  Subiaco – Sunday 9th June – Premier League

Photo – Ethan Kerridge in action – ECU under 13’s earn another 3 points with a comfortable victory over Subiaco following their impressive win the day before in the cup. The visitors actually started the brighter, an early free kick going over and they generally played the better football, the hosts could not settle in to any kind of rhythm and apart from a few long range shots, didn’t really threaten the Subiaco goal keeper.

Half Time – ECU Joondalup  0-0  Subiaco

The break through came within 2 minutes of the re start, a penalty was awarded for a hand ball and Kieron Craig stepped up to make it 1-0. ECU started to relax and play and managed to hit the post twice in as many minutes, firstly Oliver Ford headed against a post from a corner and then Liam Hudson struck the upright with a shot.

It was soon 2-0 though, Liam H providing a cross for Luke Salmon to finish. Louie Robinson then swung over a good cross from the left for Liam H to make it 3-0 and 3 became 4 soon after, a great surging run from midfield by Oliver F finished with a pin point cross that was headed in at the far post by Kieron C. Luke S then scored his second of the match after a great through ball by Brad Jordan.

A good second half performance by ECU, you always got the feeling that the first goal would be followed by a few more.
